Today we hiked through the beautiful grounds of Nalley Brown Nature Park in Easley, SC. It’s always fun to discover new places within a short driving distance from Greenville.
Under a vibrant green canopy,
down a hill side with forested slopes,
over bridges,
and past spring blooms,
we discovered the beautiful grounds of this local hidden gem at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Easley.
Nalley Brown Nature Park
Nalley Brown Nature Park is a well-maintained park with trails through the forest and wetlands and a nice nature playground at the trailhead.
And it is only 30 minutes from Greenville.
There are 3 different sized loops in the park totaling 2.5 miles. They are all easy and mostly flat.
- To complete a full-circle, take a 1.5-mile green loop, Nalley Trail, around the park.
- Brown Trail is a shorter inner loop that follows parallel to the green trail and under a mile long.
- Wetland Trail is just 0.1mi and travels along the boardwalk, through a wetland area, and connects the two loops together.
It's a perfect quick getaway from the city without venturing too far to experience the magnificence of the great outdoors. With fewer crowds most of the time, you cannot help but admire the tranquility that seemed to envelop every trail in this nature park.
Have you been to this park before?
