Great little hidden park in Inman! There are two umbrella-shaded, separate play areas for bigger and smaller kids! It is completely fenced in with a walking trail around the perimeter. Renovated in 2020, this park is an inviting place to stop and let the kids burn off that energy.
It has one big play structure for older kids with a nice variety of climbing and sliding features on each side.
Some of the climbing options were new to the kids, so they really enjoyed figuring out how to climb those, like this net obstacle
or inclined tunnel.
For toddler-scale fun, there's a smaller play structure with exciting options to traverse, climb, and slide down.
There are also 2 picnic shelters with plenty of tables and natural shade,
exercise equipment that kids couldn't get enough of,
a traditional swing set, a corn hole, restrooms, and big trees that provide plenty of shaded pockets.
Overall, it's a great place for kids of all ages with parents being able
to keep an eye on their little ones playing on the playground from
pretty much anywhere in the park.
The park is near a historic downtown, so there are plenty of places
to explore around as well, including a brand-new Inman Library and
small shops along Main Street.
