We were hiking in the area and came across this neat playground in Zirconia with newer play structures, a shaded pavilion, a short paved walking loop, and a tennis court. Such a beautiful park to stumble upon.
Tuxedo Park
Tuxedo Park is a 6-acre well-kept community space in a small cozy town of Zirconia right on the border between North and South Carolina.
We couldn't ask for more for the kids to work those wiggles out during our quick pit stop. The park is perfect for both older and younger kids. There's a little bit of everything for all ages and skill levels, from a natural climbing boulder to plenty of slides to all sorts of climbing features.
The stand-up net spinner was a blast with the kids. The excitement of the additional challenge of keeping the balance on a spinning roundabout brought a new way to enjoy the play.
Older kids especially love the challenging climbing features and circular monkey bars.
There's a separate play structure for the littlest with plenty of options to climb on and slide down. The swing for two, like the mommy and me set, is great for a unique play experience with small children.
All the equipment was well cared-for and the bathrooms were clean. A nice place to visit with the kids if you are in the area.
