North Main Rotary Park is a nice, shaded and recently-renovated neighborhood park located in one of Greenville's oldest neighborhoods, near the downtown area. For such a compact playground, there are more than enough opportunities for kids to climb, jump, run, and explore.
Luckily, there's no shortage of cool playgrounds in Greenville. And this is one of them. This park features a quiet playground with swings, a short trail with wooden bridges along the stream, a covered pavilion with picnic tables, and a small parking lot next to the Bobby Pearse Community Center.
Covered Pavilion
Situated right next to the play area under the lush greenery, the park
has a covered pavilion that's perfect for birthday parties and
picnics.
Parents will also enjoy taking a break under a covered pavilion or on one of the park's benches in the shade of tall trees.
Play Area For Older Kids
This obstacle-like play structure with many climbing and balancing features is perfect for little daredevils and will probably leave them feeling like they ran a mini-marathon.
Play Area For Younger Kids
This tot lot is a safe environment for the young explorers to touch, climb, slide and test their boundaries. Plus, sensory panels with huge marbles and musical boards make it even more fun.
Plus, it provides more shade than many other playgrounds in the area.
Parking
Be sure to park in the Bobby Pearse Community Center parking lot rather than along the road for safer and more direct access to the playground.
