Located near Town Hall in Lyman, SC, this inclusive playground spans 2
acres of ultimate play space. In addition to all-inclusive and
handicap-accessible equipment, it boasts a musical garden, swing sets,
slides, roundabouts, a rock climbing wall, monkey bars, covered
pavilions, walking trails, a nearby amphitheater, and umbrellas over the
most equipment.
There are also a few quite unique play structures, such as a climbing tunnel and the Sway Fun Glider, a multi-wheelchair accessible glider with a table in the center.
Wide walkaways, ramps, low to the ground slides, a rubber-like surface are great for kids of all abilities and ages.
Another cool feature is a 4-seat teeter totter with a high backrest, low-level seats, and shock-absorbing features. If one rider stands up from his or her seat, the other riders will not experience a hard landing on their side.
Overall, this design encourages children to share equipment, invite a friend to play, and work together to make it move. The midpoint can also accommodate one more child or caregiver to join in on the fun.
Ramps and gentle slopes are also great for toddlers.
The swings have adaptable seats with a buckle.
