Cleveland Park, Greenville, SC

Since making Greenville our home, we’ve turned our free time into an adventure—exploring every hidden trail, scenic park, and playful playground in the area, all while on a sweet quest to find the best shaved ice spots in town. Cleveland Park definitely checked all the boxes!

From the Swamp Rabbit Trail to the Greenville Zoo to the countless playgrounds, Cleveland Park is packed with things to do. It’s the kind of park that can easily fill a whole day with fun or simply give you a quiet retreat when you need it.

One of the best improvements in recent years is that many play structures now have umbrellas or shade coverings, which helps significantly when the weather is hot.

Just a short walk away, you’ll find a brand-new, all-inclusive playground that kids will absolutely love. Opened in 2025, Brooks’ Playground has quickly become a local favorite. It’s fun, colorful, well-spaced, and fully gated. There’s even play equipment along the trail leading up to the playground if you feel like walking from the zoo parking lot instead of parking right next to it. If you’re looking for something new this weekend, this playground is absolutely worth the stop.
