This cute nature-inspired playground is the Baytown Nature Center's
best-kept secret. Tucked away in a picturesque pocket of a wildlife
sanctuary, it fits into the natural landscape. The play area features
sea creatures, wild animal sculptures, climbing and musical equipment,
tunnels, logs, educational boards, a huge pirate ship, and much more to
capture kids' minds and hearts.
All the animal sculptures make a wonderful addition to the park and add so much character to the playground. Raccoons, crabs, turtles, a small bunny, a snake balance beam, and a caterpillar tunnel are just too cute and bring the imaginative play to the next level.
It's the little and simple things that make the most impact on kids. Everyone was excited about climbing inside a hollow turtle's shell to pretend to be a cute reptile.
