We came for the Carrick Creek Falls and stayed for dozens of other cascading falls along the Carrick Creek Trail. It was our first 2-mile hike with the kids, and we enjoyed every second of it. A hilly landscape, elements of risk, and boulders to cross some shallow waters along the way filled the need for adventure and fun discoveries.

Here is the trick, turn left at the fork in the Carrick Creek Trail, in order to go down in its steepest section where the two creeks —Carrick and Green, join.
All hiking trails close 30 minutes before sunset.
