The fall whirlwind is in full swing. Gather your crew and head to Hendersonville, NC, to experience the cutest pumpkin maze for the littlest at Linda’s Plants and Shrubs.
Get your costumes on and enjoy this BOOrrific maze, a straw playground, and tons of photo ops, of course. And make sure to get your costume on, it’s half the fun!
Pumpkin Maze Highlights Include:
- The maze has tunnels, dead ends and a big slide that goes straight into a corn pit.
- There are two large corn pits.
- Giant Jack-o’-lantern and other Halloween photo ops
- And so much more!
The best part, at the end of the Fall season, this place turns into a Christmas wonderland with new decor, but the corn pits and maze remain intact throughout the holiday season.
Note: At the time of our visit, registration was not required. But be sure to check them online, visit their Facebook page, or call for the latest updates before making the trip.
Tickets: $5 per child
What's next?
If you think this pumpkin maze is too far to drive from Greenville, SC, check out the Sky Top Orchard in Flat Rock, NC. It's also a fall fun spot! But honestly, try to visit Linda’s Plants and Shrubs and all its surrounding places just outside Historic Hendersonville in the fall. This area is chock full of seasonal festivities at every turn.
There are plenty of orchards, pumpkin patches & sunflower fields on and around Chimney Rock Rd in Hendersonville! You will never run out of things to do there in the fall. Stepp's Hillcrest Orchard has a lot of things for the whole family, including a corn maze, a sunflower/apple/pumpkin picking, a jumping pillow, a little straw playground, rides, and much more.
Justus Orchard is another great place to partake in all the staples of the season. There’s also Grandad's Apples. They have a corn maze, rides, an apple picking on some weekends too, and more. For a pit stop, there’s J&M Farms. They have fluffy chickens my toddler loved to play with and the cutest hale bale photo op.
I hope this information will help you plan your next fun outing with kids in Hendersonville. One thing I feel I must mention, wherever you decide to go for fall events, there will be bigger-than-usual crowds everywhere, especially on weekends in October, so plan ahead or try to visit during the week.
