The moment those first leaves begin to change, we’re already dreaming about heading toward Western North Carolina. And every year, there’s one little mountain town we can’t wait to return to—Cashiers, NC.

We spent the day wandering through the North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville, where fall colors were still glowing and the first signs of the holidays were starting to appear. The air was crisp, the trails peaceful, and the coffee from the garden café made it all feel extra cozy. There’s something special about visiting this time of year — when autumn hasn’t quite said goodbye, and winter is just beginning to sparkle.
