Jenkins Park
Jenkins Park offers many fun-filled activities for people of all ages. Lots of things to see and do there. This park boasts a dog park, Skate Park, a colorful splash pad, hiking trails, playgrounds, workout stations, basketball courts, a disc golf course and bathrooms on site, plus plenty of natural shade.
Splash Pad
The splash pad features a fun marsh theme with spraying oversized cattails, frogs, snakes, butterflies, a dumping bucket, arches, and an alligator slide! It runs seasonally from March through September. There are several covered picnic tables adjacent to the spray grounds that are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Various water features are suitable for both younger and older children.
Slithering snakes, stealthy alligators and some friendly frogs are
perfect for the littlest to sit on and use for support on a slippery
surface.
There is plenty of space around each water feature, allowing all children to have fun without bumping into each other.
While the alligator slide is probably the main attraction, these oversized cattails are a huge hit with the kids too, as they spray in all directions and keep the fun going.
