Hyleman's
Humble Playground in Gaffney is a truly special place where kids of all
abilities can come together and have fun. The park features
an adaptive sensory-rich playground and a seasonal
sports-themed splash pad, the ultimate combo for a fun-filled summer day with kids!
Inclusive Playground
The playground has been designed with safety and accessibility in mind! The wide walkways, ramps, and low-to-the-ground slides are all features that can help kids to navigate the grounds with ease.
In addition to all-inclusive and handicap-accessible equipment, it boasts musical and sensory panels, a two-seat seesaw, swing sets, slides, and a roundabout that kids love to push to its top speed.
There are also plenty of classic playground elements, such as multilevel monkey bars, spiral slides, and climbing panels. They are timeless and always a hit with kids.
And if the little player takes a tumble, the rubber-like surface cushions the landing, allowing children to get up and continue playing without getting hurt.
The park is pretty compact, which makes it easy to keep an eye on all the kiddos at once. And let's be real, if you've got a little Houdini on your hands, the fence around the park will give you a major sense of relief!
Splash Pad
This park's got a splash pad too! And it is like a mini theme park for kids. They'll love running through the water sprays and playing with the different features. It's vibrant, quite spacious, fully fenced in for safety and boasts the most adorable sports theme.
The splash pad includes fun water features, such as dumping buckets, pop-up geysers, spray arches and interactive balls of varying sizes.
But the real crowd pleaser here is the enormous tipping baseball that dumps water at regular intervals onto the cheering kids below. Kids love the element of surprise and the feeling of getting splashed by a sudden downpour and want to repeat it time and again. It's the experience that kids cannot get enough of.
All features shoot water randomly, so you never know when you're gonna get soaked! Just push the button by the entrance and BAM, you're in for a splashing good time!
The playground and splash pad don't get much shade, so it's best to visit early in the morning or evening hours when the sun isn't too strong. Remember to prioritize sun protection - bring sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses!
