Sunset Park is a barrier-free playground in Mauldin, SC. It has wheelchair accessible play structures, a merry-go-round, the Sway Fun glider, roller slides, low-level sensory panels and lots of unique features. This colorful playground was designed to empower children of all abilities to play alongside each other and ensure no one is left out.
It's always fun finding such playgrounds. A multitude of play structures that cater to children of varying ages and abilities is sure to give your little ones the playtime they need to thrive. The playground is fenced off from the parking area and has a rubber-like surface to cushion the play. We had a great time taking advantage of all its unique features.
There are wide transition ramps to ensure that all play structures are wheelchair accessible and free from tripping hazards.
Large marble and activity panels are perfect for a soothing sensory experience and tactile play.
There's also a smaller play structure with a gentle slide and low-level climbing features for younger kids.
