3. Cleveland Park

Cleveland Park, one of the oldest parks in Greenville, is full of charm and history. Its prime location next to the Greenville Zoo makes it a popular spot for families, and it's also a key entry point to the Swamp Rabbit Trail, drawing both locals and tourists. The park truly has something for everyone! And the best part? There are some exciting updates coming in 2025! The standout addition is Brooks' Playground, a 10,640-square-foot inclusive space opening in spring 2025, with accessible equipment for kids of all ages. The park will also get sand volleyball courts, new shelters, ADA parking, and a restroom facility. These improvements are all designed to make the park even more accessible and fun for everyone!

6. McPherson Park

McPherson Park is the perfect spot if you're looking for a change of scenery and a break from the other parks in the area. It has two playgrounds, one of which is a bit tucked away to the left of the tennis courts when facing them, so keep an eye out for it. Plus, there’s a free outdoor golf area – just remember to bring your balls and clubs! The park is conveniently located within a short walking distance of Main Street, so if you’ve got comfy walking shoes, take a stroll and maybe even try to spot the MICE ON MAIN – a fun little scavenger hunt around the city!
7. Gower Park

Nestled among towering trees that provide plenty of shade, Gower Park is our go-to spot for a picnic and a refreshing change of scenery. The playground features a large, multi-level play structure, with the trees offering natural shade all around, making it an ideal spot for kids to have fun while staying cool. And let’s not forget the kid-friendly zip line, which adds a little extra thrill to playtime! The park recently underwent a major $1.4 million renovation, which expanded the court area by 9,000 square feet and added two new basketball courts, three new tennis courts, and ten new pickleball courts.

8. Timmons Park

Timmons Park is a great little retreat in the city! It is a peaceful, community-focused park that features a lighted baseball field, eight lighted pickleball courts, a bright playground, picnic shelter and the city's only 18-hole disc golf course. It also has a lovely walking trail, a pond, and green spaces perfect for a picnic.
9. Holmes Park

Holmes Park is a delightful neighborhood park that's perfect for a low-key day out. Tucked away in a quiet area of Greenville, it features an obstacle course playground with plenty of room for kids to run and explore. 2. Gatlin Park

The park offers a lovely escape with its scenic views and peaceful environment, ideal for leisurely walks, picnics by the stream, and children's outdoor play. However, it's worth noting that the playground features only one multi-level structure, so while it's a nice local spot, it may not justify a special trip. Plus, keep an eye on little escape artists since the play area is right by the road and not fenced in! All in all, it's a great local spot to swing by if you're in the area and need a quick pit stop! We once popped in after a gym time at Crunch Fitness nearby and had a blast also watching the goats munch on grass! The City of Greenville actually uses these adorable animals to tackle invasive plants, which made for an entertaining lunch break for us!
3. North Main Rotary Park
